Engine Company 8 on Kondracki Ln. in East Wallingford is a volunteer station. It was built in 1980, members moved from a one engine house that was located on Whirlwind Hill Road. Engine Company 8 is manned by 30 volunteers, their Chief is Bill Celeta. Engine 8 was established in 1944.  Housed here are Engine 8, Squad 8, Tanker 8 and Ladder 8.
